Grady County Jail

Good Behavior

Interview with Tony

JM: Did you get off early based on good behavior?
Tony: NO, I was 46 at the time and usually put in holding for the first few hours (Before being booked in)with younger guys that had been arrested for drugs or drunk driving. I kinda helped a few by telling them, that I'm 20 years older and we're in the same place, and it would best for you not to be here when your my age.

JM: What is the most time off you can receive for good behavior?
Tony: There was not an option for time off for good behavior with my sentence.

JM: What types of actions do you need to avoid in order to get time off?
Tony: I would think following the rules and getting along with both the guards and prisoners. From my experience the guards didn't like being there anymore than the prisoners.
