Tony: Oh yes, telephones must be the newest legitimate
business the mob has gotten into. Prices are
Ridiculous, They prey on people not having the
money to pay for there fines and wanting to talk
to there family, ending up taking money away
from the person's family, that they didn't have
in the first place.
JM: What types of charges applied for calling people?
Tony: 5.00 a minute
JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Tony: no they gave you a pin number to punch in so
that when your call was recorded they could use
that as evidence if needed.
JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Tony: There was a phone in every cell, they were all
recorded, but in another building.
